Been really busy these last few days sorting out the kids bedrooms.Alfie is now in a BIG boys bed and Isla has finally gone into the toddler bed and boy don't I know about it!!
Shes awake and running around the bedroom until late at night, then passes out side wides amongst all the toys shes piled on top of the bed... quite sweet really.
Last night the kids decided they wanted to stay up until midnight, now thats something I don't usually allow but as its the holidays I thought why not. Isla managed until 9.30pm, Alfie wanted to go to bed at 11 but then came back downstairs once he heard a massive clap of thunder, Lana managed until midnoght. We all snuggled up on the sofa watching Jaws. I thought they would be really scared but they weren't bothered in the slightest, now when I first saw that film I jumped behind the sofa when that head came floating out of the hole in the wrecked sunken boat but all they said was 'did the shark do that?'
Anyway they still got up at the crack of dawn so I think an early night will be in order tonight :-D
Not long until we go camping, the kids are getting quite excited about sleeping in a tent. Definitely got to go and see the burnt out pier at Weston. Couldn't believe it when I saw it on the telly, mum and dad were only there on Sunday.
I went on holiday to Skeggy last year with mum and on the day we left one of the piers caught fire, bit of a coincidence don't ya think LOL!!
Finished another bag last night, just got to line the inside and then I'll post pics of it, also been crocheting some Mary Jane slippers and now all the kids want a pair LOL, you can say I'm well and truly hooked on crocheting!!
