Did You Get Snow?

We did but not alot, didn't even bother getting the camera out as it wasn't worth it, the kids were most disappointed but hopefully we will get some tonight. They've predicted between 10-20 cms will fall in the early hours of the morning here in the midlands but not getting my hopes up too much.

Funny how the country came to a stand still over a couple of inches of snow where other countries like Canada, Russia etc just carry on.

So did you have a good weekend?
I worked both days but Sunday was a great day, didn't even feel like I was working as the 12 hours was full of laughter, karaoke, pranks and a fashion show, all us seniors have got new uniforms so there we were walking up and down the dining room strutting our stuff showing off the very fetching(not)burgundy tops,I'm sure the residents think the staff are working in the right place as most of us are complete loons LOL!
Hopefully this cold spell will clear by the weekend as we're going to see if we can take a few of the residents out for tea on Saturday and I'll have to drive the big bus, don't fancy driving that heap round the icy lanes thats for sure!!

Still crocheting the blanket, its getting bigger and heavier with each hexagon that I attach but I can't wait to see it finished, already decided what my next project is going to be....another ripple blanket, only this time a lot smaller, going to order the yarn on Friday :-D

Been scrappin' tonight, the first time in weeks but can't show you as its for Sarahs Cards Ltd blog, my turn this month to do something for the blog, looking forward to getting next months kit, meant to be lots of new products =0)

I will leave you with a couple of layouts I did with last months kit...

Fingers crossed it snows during the night, Alfie wants to build a snowman and he quite fancies having the day off school LOL

xoxo
