Not alot going on with my needles this week apart from getting my starter section of my cable scarf knitted up ready for posting later on today. Its headed for Germany.
Taking part in the cable scarf journey over on Ravelry, so should be receiving someone elses in the next day or two

Now my crochet hook has been busy since Monday night :-)
Hooking up another 'soft waves' ripple blanket

And hubby did make me a swift and it works like a dream

Just need to find somewhere for it to go when its not being used!!!

Right off to have a look at what everyone else as been upto this week with their hooks and needles over on Tamis blog

xoxo

My Dad made me a swift for my birthday, and it came in its own hand crafted box with my name etched on it. My Dad is very clever with his hands but even so, sometimes he blows me away with what I can make.

YAY for the Swift! Hope you find a great place for it. That's the problem with the ones that don't fold up, they are kind of big.

The ripple is so pretty! I love the colors.

I absolutely love the colors of your ripple blanket. So pretty! What a neat looking swift. Your husband did a great job. I am going to show the picture to mine and challenge him to make me one, too!

That blanket is very pretty. What a great swift. I'm impressed that your husband made it for you. I like it that it would work with different size skeins with all those holes. Nice!

Loving the look of the ripple - is it easy cos my sunburst granny squares are starting to drive me bonkers and I could do with a lil change of project ;)

Gutted bout your phone lol - aren't the kids old enough to do the cooking/cleaning/washing up for you yet ;) ;) Would never have happened then ;) Hope the replacement kit you ordered does the trick xxx

Love the swift. I don't like my knitpicks swift because it never fits any of my tables...I like yours.

Your projects are beautiful and colorful.

Your Ripple Blanket is one of the best I've seen. The color combination of the stripes is so bright and fresh! I love it.

And your husband wins Man of the Year Award for building you a swift. :)

I love the rippled afghan. Those colors are very appealing! I hope your traveling scarf project works out well - it will be fun to see.

Nice swift! I have a similar one and just love it.

The ripple blanket is simply beautiful. And amazing swift! Much preferable over the annoying umbrella ones.
